Yet another poem for my sweetie pie....

I wanted to hold you,
And tell of this love -
I have for you,
Whilst together
That night.
I wanted you to be in my arms,
And promise you the world -
Of our future
By each others side,
Just us two.
I wanted to tell you,
Of the passion that fills me
When I see you;
Of the fire that in me blazes,
When you are around.
I wanted to do all these -
And much more, my love,
But with you I was afraid
To lose what I almost had
With glazed eyes, I said goodbye,
And walked away, into nothingness.
